Black Bird Of Prey

Swooping down, towards the 'prey'.

Down, down, to where it lay.

Like a camera, focusing, zooming in,

Sighting what it is.

The prey moves, then it runs .....

I attempt to STRIKE! I miss!

My wrath is white hot, I explode.

I am expended, exhausted. I have borne my load.

No more my scream. No more my roar.

Dumb. Fragmented I am.

Now just my dying embers. Scattered.

Debris riddled ..... A defunct bomb.
