Spring. Newly arrived.

Fresh, glistening with vigour.

New.

Virgin Plants awakening,

Spattered with fresh dew.

 

Trees, shrubs, flowers,

Blossoming. Seeking the golden sun.

Lambs, calves, a new-born generation.

They frolic and gambol,

Through the green, verdant grass they run.

 

A cuckoo is heard,

Its right on cue.

Reminding one and all, that Spring is calling…..

….."I'm here. I'm fresh, I'm new".
